Offshore Fishing Trips
Spend aTripping Awesome Day With Family and Friends
Sunday November 19, 2017
What's more fun than a good "Road Trip"? When the road ends near Cocoa Beach and it's offshore fishing, you know... it's gonna be a good time. I always think of the movie with Chevy Chase going to Wally World when throngs of travelers transcend on our sub-tropical state for a trip to the deep blue sea at Sea World's Discovery Cove or Universal's Islands of Adventure. I know, I know, but after standing in lines for several days waiting for the next 40 second ride at your favorite attraction, most find that the journey turns into an eclectic mishap of fantasyland, adventureland and possibly a roller coaster ride that ties it's roots to the ocean like The Manta, Splash Mountain or possibly The Kraken.
I ask myself often... Why do we try and substitute the "REAL" adventure for a false canned adventure when there's plenty of tangible quality outdoor activities? Living so close to the Orlando area and it's theme parks, I see families tripping across the world to get to a new perceived adventure when only minutes away lies the cobalt blue ocean and shallow water lagoons with wildlife from bald eagles to manatees and even dolphin. It fascinates me to think we've come to the place in our culture that a substitute artificial adventure has become the norm for real activities.
If you're looking for the "Real Thing" in outdoor adventure, look to Lagooner Fishing Guides and Captain Richard's offshore fishing adventures. Call today and we'll help you understand what a good fishing adventure in-tales.

November - 2017 Fishing Report
November in Central Florida can be an up or down proposition for fishing offshore as the nor-easterner's start to blow and seas pick up. However, it can be rewarding for anglers looking to cash in on the end of the fall mullet run for almost every type of nearshore species from jacks and snook to redfish and tarpon. If the temperatures and wind stay cooperative, look for nearshore to be productive, but if the seas get angry look inshore towards the lagoons for redfish, sea trout and possibly some snook action at Sebastian Inlet and the Indian River Lagoon. November is a Central Florida transition month so don't be surprised to see fish getting active and feeding heavily before the winter cool down when bait becomes less abundant and fish look to warm up on the shallow water flats later in the morning.
